Police need help to ID stolen credit card suspects

LANSING, MI (WLNS) – The Lansing Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify two people who are accused of using a stolen credit card.

The stolen credit card was used at two separate businesses on Lansing’s south side.

LANSING, MI (WLNS) – Crime Stoppers of mid-Michigan is asking for the public’s help to find three people wanted for felonies.

Hailey Kessler Fick has a felony warrant for concealed weapons out of Lansing. Fick is a white woman, 27, 5’4″ and weighs 125 pounds. She has blond/brown hair and hazel eyes.

Christopher Jordan Stewart has a felony warrant for embezzlement out of Lansing. Stewart is a white man, 29, 5’6″ and weighs 150 pounds. He has blonde hair and hazel eyes.

Douglas Chance Vaughn has a felony warrant for larceny out of Lansing. Vaughn is a black man, 21, 5’10” and weighs 200 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Search is on for wanted man who may be armed

LANSING, MI (WLNS) – The Lansing Police Department is searching for a 32-year-old man wanted on a vehicle theft felony warrant.

Jessie Lamont James is also wanted by the Michigan Department of Corrections for absconding parole.

Police are warning that James may be armed and not to approach him.

Crime Stoppers: 3 Attempts To ID

LANSING, MI (WLNS) – Crime Stoppers of mid-Michigan is asking for the public’s help to identify three people.

Attempt to ID 1: An armed robbery took place around 9:45 pm on Saturday, June 13 at a restaurant in the 5700 block of S. Cedar in Lansing.

A black man came into the restaurant, pointed a handgun at an employee and demanded money. He then fled the store and headed south.

The man is described as 6’2″, medium build, wearing a blue hoodie over his head and face with a white and dotted bandana over the hoodie on his face, wearing long pants and white tennis shoes.

Attempt to ID 2: Around 6:20 p.m. on Friday May 22 officers were dispatched to the

800 block of Baker St. in the City of Lansing for a possible shooting.

Witness said a light colored sedan stopped in the middle of the block, a man got out of the car and fired shots down the street.

The suspect then re-entered the car and drove away.

Attempt to ID 3: Around 1:23 a.m. on June 15 a man came into a Speedway gas station and ordered the clerk to open the cash register.

The Speedway gas station is located in the 8900 block of E. Lansing Rd. in Shiawassee County’s Venice Twp.

The man was wearing a black baseball cap, black hooded sweatshirt, and black and white gloves.

He also had a black and white bandana covering his face and was armed with a hammer.

Once the cash register was opened, the suspect reached in and stole several bills. The suspect then fled the store on foot and got into a car, then drove away. 6 News has not received pictures or video of the robbery at this time.

Crime Stoppers: 1 attempt to ID, 2 wanted for felonies

LANSING, MI (WLNS) – Crime Stoppers of mid-Michigan is asking for the public’s help to identify four people and to find two people wanted for felonies.

Attempt to ID – During the overnight hours on June 15, 2015 in the 700 block of E. South Street, four people pried open a garage door and entered a building. They used pry bars to damage cameras. All four people were wearing light colored clothing and gloves.

Felonies –

Juan Antonio Bonilla has a felony warrant for assault out of Lansing. Bonilla is a Hispanic man, 29, 5’7″ and weighs 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Michael Alexander Wooden has a felony warrant for dangerous drugs out of Lansing. Wooden is a white man, 25, 5’10” and weighs 180 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

Valentin Castro Borrego has a felony warrant for invasion of privacy offense out of Lansing. Borrego is a white man, 54, 5’11” and weighs 220 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Peterson Gabriel has a felony warrant for burglary out of Lansing. Gabriel is a black man, 28, 5’5″ and weighs 214 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Dustin Charles Wilkins Sr. has a felony warrant for obstruction of justice out of Lansing. Wilkins Sr. is a white man, 35, 6’2″ and weighs 230 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

Crime Stoppers: 1 Attempt to ID, 2 wanted for felonies

LANSING, MI (WLNS) – Crime Stoppers of mid-Michigan is asking for the public’s help to identify one person and to find two people wanted for felonies.

Attempt to ID – Around 8 a.m. on Thursday, June 18, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of E. Miller Road for an armed robbery complaint. The victim told police an unknown man was standing at the bus stop. The man asked the victim if he had any money. The victim told the man he did not and went about his business. The suspect then followed the victim, grabbed him and robbed him. Following the robbery, the suspect left on foot, heading west on Miller.

The suspect is described as about 35 years old, medium build, 5’9 – 5’10, with a thin mustache.

Felonies –

Sanquita Dayton Callahan has a felony warrant for assault out of Lansing. Callahan is a black woman, 23, 5’7″ and weighs 140 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.

Richard Darnell Morrell Jr. has a felony warrant for robbery out of Lansing. Morrell Jr. is a black man, 23, 5’10” and weighs 175 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Crime Stoppers: 2 Attempts To ID

LANSING, MI (WLNS) – Crime Stoppers of mid-Michigan is asking for the public’s help to identify six people in two separate cases.

Case 1: Attempt to ID – On Thursday, July 9 officers were called to the 600 block of Sheridan Street for a fraud complaint at a local business. The witness told police that businesses fuel bills started getting higher and in July an extremely high fuel bill came in. The business then called the fuel services company where they get their fuel cards from to check on the last high fuel bill. The history of transactions showed the high costs were charged to one particular fuel card that was taken from the business in November 2014. The women pictured is believed to have used the fuel card at a local gas station.

Case 2: Fives attempt to ID – Around 1:15 a.m. on March 14 officers were called to the 5100 block of N. Grand River on a breaking and entering complaint. All three businesses in the strip mall were broken into by suspects going through the roof. Just before closing for the night, one of the businesses store video shows these five people in the store. About an hour later, three of the five broke in through the roof and the other two can be seen standing outside watching.

Crime Stoppers: 1 wanted for felony, 2 requests for information

LANSING, MI (WLNS) – Crime Stoppers of mid-Michigan is asking for the public’s help to find one person wanted for a felony and with two requests for information.

Felony – Shondale Markey Blackman has a felony warrant for robbery out of Lansing. Blackman is a black man, 22, 6’1″ and weighs 180 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Request for information 1 – Early in the morning on Sunday July 26, police received multiple calls of shots fired in the 3900 block of Burneway. Officials say the shots fired resulted in a 20-year-old man’s injuries. Investigators are seeking any information regarding the incident and people involved.

Request for information 2/cold case information request: Six years ago a 19-year-old was shot and killed and to this day officials have not been able to solve the case. It happened during the evening on August 1, 2009, in the 900 block of West Cavanaugh. Edric Hinton, 19 was shot and killed. Investigators are seeking any information related to Edric Hinton’s homicide and the people involved.

Crime Stoppers: 2 Requests For Assistance

LANSING, MI (WLNS) – Crime Stoppers of mid-Michigan is asking for the public’s help with two requests for assistance.

Request for assistance 1 – Around 1 a.m. on Saturday August 1, police were called to the 1100 block of South Grand Ave. in Lansing due to shots fired.

Upon arrival police found two young men had been shot while standing on the porch of the house. One of the men, 23 year old Michael McKissic was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The Lansing Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in solving this homicide.

Request for assistance 2 – Around 10 p.m. on Sunday August 2, police were called responded to an accident at the intersection on Pennsylvania and May St. in Lansing.

When officers arrived they found that a house had been hit by a car and was leaking natural gas.

Officers evacuated the surrounding houses before the house exploded and burned.

Witnesses state that the car was rear ended by a gold colored SUV while making a turn and was forced by the SUV into the house.

The Lansing Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in solving this hit and run incident.

Jacob Lee Cancino has a felony warrant for assault out of Lansing. Cancino is a white man, 27, 5’6″ and weighs 130 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Mandy Lynn Moise has a felony warrant for robbery out of Lansing. Moise is a white woman, 33, 5’8″ and weighs 260 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Andre Theodis Stroder has a felony warrant for robbery out of Lansing. Stroder is a black man, 29, 5’11” and weighs 185 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Four arraigned in Clinton County homicide

UPDATE (3:14 p.m.) – Police have released pictures and the identity of the four people arraigned on felony murder.

The suspects are Mitchell Daron Ballinger, 41, Manuel Raymond Martinex, 20, Alexis Marie Pena, 24 and Dominique Donte Harris, 20. Ballinger and Martinez are the two men who were seen on surveillance video and are accused of using Kebler’s stolen credit card at a party story in Ypsilanti. All four were arraigned on felony murder, conspiracy to commit home invasion and home invasion charges.

A probable cause hearing is scheduled for later in August. The preliminary exam is scheduled for September.

UPDATE (11:10 a.m. ) – Police have arrested four people in the death of 62-year-old Jeffrey Kebler at his Clinton County home one week ago.

Three men and one woman face murder charges in Kebler’s death which was discovered when he failed to show for work last Thursday.

At a news conference this morning Clinton County officials said money, electronics, televisions and jewelry were taken.

So far the only information on the suspects that has been released are that two of the men are 20-years old and the other is 41-years old.  The woman charged is 24.  Two were already in custody on unrelated charges in Ingham County.  And, the other two surrendered.  While all are charged with murder, it is believed two actually committed the crime.

Officials also said at the news conference they believed the homicide happened at about 2 o’clock on the morning of August 6, and Kebler’s body was found several hours later.

The suspects are believed to have used Kebler’s credit card to buy soft drinks and cookies the morning of the homicide.

ST JOHNS, MI (WLNS) – Clinton County officials have scheduled a news conference to discuss developments in the death of Jeffrey Kebler last week.

Just yesterday (Thursday) police released surveillance pictures of men they wanted to talk to in connection with the case.

Kebler was found in his home north of Grand Ledge last week after he failed to show up for work.

LANSING, MI (WLNS) – Crime Stoppers of mid-Michigan is asking for the public’s help to find two people wanted for felonies and to identify one person.

Dante Lashaun Adams is a black male, 30 years old, 5’11 tall and 165 pounds, black hair and brown eyes. He has a felony warrant for assault out of Lansing. He is shown in the upper right of the picture.

Gerald Savoy Lawrence is a black male, 32 years old, 5’7″ tall, black hair, brown eyes and 130 pounds. He has a felony warrant for assault put of Lansing. He is shown in the lower right of the picture.

There is also an attempt to identify a third person. On August 20th, 2015 Officers responded to a parking lot in the 6500 Block of
Mercantile Way in response to a motor vehicle theft complaint. Video taken shows the accused riding a mountain bike into the parking lot and getting
off the bike. Video shows him walking through the parking lot checking the vehicles. Eventually he gets to the victim’s vehicle. He enters the vehicle, starts it, then backs out of the parking stall and travels through the parking lot, out of site of the camera.

EATON COUNTY, MI (WLNS) – Crime Stoppers of mid-Michigan is asking for the public’s help to find four people wanted for felonies.

Benjamin Sprague Baker has a felony warrant for drugs out of Eaton County. Baker is a white man, 37, 5’7″ and weighs 180 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

James William Hector has a felony warrant for drugs out of Eaton County. Hector is a white man, 39, 5’10” and weighs 180 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Lisa Kay Villanueva has a felony warrant for drugs out of Eaton County. Villanueva is a white woman, 47, 5’4″ and weighs 140 pounds. She has auburn hair and blue eyes.

Attempt to ID 1 – The Michigan State University Police Department needs your help to identify two men accused of stealing a 55” LED television from the University Village apartment complex.

It happened on Saturday, Sept. 27 shortly after midnight in the 1200 block of Garden City Road.

MSU Police say two unknown people came into the apartment through an unlocked window and swiped the TV.

The suspects were captured on surveillance video leaving the apartment.

LANSING, MI (WLNS) – Crime Stoppers of mid-Michigan is asking for the public’s help to find three people wanted for felonies.

Sonny Lee McCoy has a felony warrant for assault out of Grand Rapids. McCoy is a black man, 24, 6’1″ and weighs 185 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Officials believe McCoy is currently in the Lansing area.

Antoineque Dheresa Pernell has a felony warrant for assault out of Monroe County. Pernell is a black woman, 21, 5’9″ and weighs 160 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. Officials believe Pernell is currently in the Lansing area.

Thomas Eugene Rynicki has a felony warrant for parole absconder out of Lansing. Rynicki is a white man, 45, 5’10” and weighs 240 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

LANSING, MI (WLNS) – Crime Stoppers of mid-Michigan is asking for the public’s help to identify people in two separate cases.

Attempt to ID 1

The Michigan State University Police Department is investigating a home invasion that happened on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2015.

The invasion happened shortly after midnight in the 1200 block of Garden City Road at the University Village apartment complex.

Officials say two unknown suspects entered the apartment through an unlocked window and stole a 55” LED television from inside the residence.

The suspects were captured on surveillance video leaving the apartment and the pictures can be viewed on the MSU Police Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/msupolice.

Attempt to ID 2

On Tuesday, Aug. 25 officers went to the 4700 block of N. Grand River on a burglary complaint.

Surveillance video from the business shows an unknown person using a hammer to break into the establishment.

Once inside the suspect stole various items from the business. Police need your help to identify the person pictured. Since this original post the person has returned twice to the business. If you have any idea of this person’s identity, call Crime Stoppers at 517-483-STOP.
